This exclusive design integrates the innovative Linerless technology, using a self-adhesive continuous tape without backing paper instead of the classic roll of pre-cut labels with silicone backing paper.

The main benefits of the Linerless technology featured in Cicrespi “L’Alternativa” are:

• No silicone backing paper: no substrate costs;
• Less weight and volume: less stock and transport costs, no scrap to waste;
• Double reel capacity: 50% more self-adhesive material capacity than a traditional reel of pre-cut labels with silicon paper of the same size means half machine stops to change reel and hence half downtime;
• Extreme size flexibility: tape is cut at the length you need;
• Environmental friendly: totally recyclable materials, no silicone substrate to dispose.

Moreover, “L’Alternativa” is the alternative to the common self-adhesive label to solve even environment and logistics problems, such as: water, dirt, collisions, disposal, consistence, stability, duration.

The machine is available with 4, 5, 6 inches thermal transfer units.

The self-adhesive material is a 60 micron polypropylene with a permanent hot-melt water based acrylic adhesive, neutral mat white, colourable, printed and overprintable.

 .

It is environmental friendly and recyclable. Length can be determined at your own choice.

It is abrasion and collision-proof, it does not produce working residual as liner does.

 .

The material is available in reels of mm 50, 75, 100, 150 for 1000 mt (standard sizes, more upon request) on a 75 mm diameter cardboard core for a total external length of 300 mm.

Various coding solutions have been implemented by some European States and other Countries worldwide, but the coexistence of different systems represents an obstacle to advanced drugs track and trace at EU and international level, adding extra costs for producers.

Such considerations have brought EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) to recommend the implementation of a standardized solution for the identification of drugs at European level.

Some Countries in Europe and worldwide are now implementing compelling law obligations to the producers of pharmaceutical products, particularly in Turkey or in France, where a new legislation is going into force on January 1st, 2011.

But the machinery remains property of our customer,   and our system leaves him FREE to choose his own labels on his own market.

Finally fruit producers and packagers can now be released from the patented labels, as with CIC2CIC they are FREE to use standard labels, FREE to choose every time the most suitable labels on the market, FREE to deal every time with their own favourite suppliers according to each of their specific need and under their own advantage and convenience.

On the other hand, producers and dealers of labels for fruits can now be FREE to supply to fruit producers their own labels even for an application through a labelling machine, and not only for manual or hand application, thus opening new ranges of possible customers. Cicrespi is open to collaborations with producers or dealers of labels for fruit who should be eventually interested in a cooperation.

CIC2CIC comes in two versions:

CIC2CIC One is the system for high speed application, up to 90 labels per minute, on single fruits running one by one on conveyors, singulators, calibrators.

CIC2CIC Case is the solution developed by Cicrespi to label fruits disposed in boxes.The standard version of the complete system is composed by conveyor belt with guides, labelling machine CIC2CIC Case with 7 heads and an optional pneumatic arm applicator with thermal transfer printer to print and apply, on the front of the box, a label for its traceability and automatic identification.

The electronics of CIC2CIC allow the self-positioning of the heads according to the height of each fruit and the width of the alveoles.

The label is sucked by an extendible sucker and released after the photocell signal on the fruit in motion.

CIC2CIC Case is available in modules with 3, 4 or 5 heads: different combinations of heads allow all solutions.
